Statement of Faith
The Bible
We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original writings, and the supreme and final authority for every aspect of faith and life (Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21).
The Godhead
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—coequal, coeternal, and unchanging in power, presence, and knowledge. All are worthy of the same worship and obedience (Genesis 1:26; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Acts 5:3-4; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
The Person of Christ
We believe in the full humanity and full deity of our Lord Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the Father’s right hand, and personal return in power and glory (Luke 1:35; Romans 1:3–4; Philippians 2:6-11).
The Person of the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person who convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, and baptizes them into the Body of Christ. He indwells, seals, enlightens, empowers, and equips believers for godly living and service (John 16:7-8; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:13-14).
Humanity and Sin
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but fell through disobedience, resulting in spiritual death and separation from God. All human beings are sinners by nature and by choice and are unable to save themselves (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1-3).
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in the finished work of Christ alone. God justifies the sinner on the basis of the shed blood and resurrection of Jesus Christ, apart from works (John 3:16; Romans 3:24-28; Ephesians 2:8-9).
Eternal Security
We believe that all true believers are eternally secure in Christ and sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption (John 10:28-29; Romans 8:1, 28-39; Ephesians 1:13-14).
The Sanctity of Life
We affirm that all human life is sacred, created in God’s image as male and female, and begins at conception. The intentional taking of innocent human life violates God’s command, “You shall not murder” (Genesis 1:26; Exodus 20:13; Psalm 139:13-16).
The Sanctity of Marriage
We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman for life, and that sexual intimacy is ordained by God to be enjoyed within that covenant alone (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6; Hebrews 13:4).
God’s Plan Through the Ages
We believe that God has revealed Himself and His redemptive plan progressively throughout history. Scripture records distinct periods or “administrations” in which God has related to humanity in specific ways, all working toward the fulfillment of His eternal purpose in Christ. We affirm that the Church is the Body of Christ, a unique work of God in this present age, and that God’s promises to Israel remain part of His sovereign plan. While we recognize differing perspectives among faithful believers regarding how these biblical ages are understood, we affirm that all Scripture is inspired by God and points to the glory of Christ and the unity of His redemptive work (Ephesians 1:9-10; 3:1–11; 2 Timothy 2:15).
The Church
We believe that the Holy Spirit unites all believers in this present age into one Body—the Church, of which Christ is the Head. This truth was first revealed through Paul and marks the beginning of the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:22-23).
Spiritual Gifts
We believe that God gives believers spiritual gifts to build up the Body of Christ. Certain miraculous gifts and offices were temporary and foundational, ceasing after the apostolic era. God, however, remains sovereign and may still work miraculously according to His will (1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 2:20; 3:20).
The Believer’s Walk
We believe that believers, through the indwelling Holy Spirit, are empowered to live in victory over sin. Although perfection is unattainable in this life, we are called to walk in obedience, holiness, and dependence on the Spirit (Romans 6:6-14; Galatians 5:16-25; Philippians 2:12-13).
The Lord’s Supper
We believe the Lord’s Supper is a memorial of Christ’s death, using symbolic elements of bread and cup, and is to be observed by believers in fellowship with Christ until He returns (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
Baptism
We believe the “one baptism” for today is the Spirit’s baptism, placing believers into the Body of Christ at salvation. Water baptism and other ritual baptisms were significant in past dispensations but are not ordinances for the present Church (Romans 6:3-4; Ephesians 4:5).
The Resurrection
We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ and of all people—the saved unto eternal life and the unsaved unto eternal punishment (John 5:28-29; 1 Corinthians 15:20-24; Revelation 20:11-15).
The Return of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ. This blessed hope motivates believers to holy living, faithful service, and steadfast expectation. While faithful Christians may differ on the order and timing of end-time events, we affirm that Jesus Christ will return to establish His righteous reign, judge the living and the dead, and bring the final fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan (Matthew 24:29-31; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; Revelation 19:11-16; 21:1-4).
The State of the Dead
We believe that the souls of the saved are immediately present with Christ at death, while the unsaved enter conscious eternal separation and punishment (Philippians 1:23; Luke 16:23-28; Revelation 20:10-15).
Mission
We believe our mission is to glorify God by proclaiming the Gospel of grace, equipping believers for spiritual maturity, and serving others through love and good works, revealing the “unsearchable riches of Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:18-20; Ephesians 3:8-9; Colossians 4:5-6).

Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creations.
