Our Story
Starting in 2026 as an affiliated church of the American Fellowship of Cowboy Churches (AFCC), Archer County Cowboy Church will begin out of a calling and obedience to God — a heartfelt response to His prompting to create a place where people from all walks of life can encounter Jesus in a real and welcoming way.
The Cowboy Church model — simple, biblical, and community-driven — will help reach people who might never step into a traditional church.
Until the Lord places us in our forever home in Archer County, Texas, we will gather faithfully in a temporary location, trusting His timing every step of the way.
From the very start, A3C will strive to mirror the heart of the early church — sharing responsibilities, caring deeply for one another, and standing firm on the truth of God’s Word. We will:
We won’t be perfect — but we’ll be real.
“Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own... I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
— Philippians 3:12–14, ESV

From the very start, A3C will strive to mirror the heart of the early church — sharing responsibilities, caring deeply for one another, and standing firm on the truth of God’s Word. We will:
- Reflect the compassion of Jesus in grace and love.
- Walk in biblical accountability and unity.
- Remain grounded in Scripture and truth.
We won’t be perfect — but we’ll be real.

Expanding the vision...
- Making disciples who make disciples.
- Serving our community through love, truth, and grace.
- Partnering with AFCC across the nation to spread the gospel.
- Supporting global missions that take the good news to the ends of the earth.
- Building strong families and raising the next generation in the knowledge of Christ.
- Creating an environment where everyone — from the ranch to the classroom, from the work site to the office — can grow in an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
Where we are headed...
The road ahead for Archer County Cowboy Church (A3C) is marked by faith, perseverance, and purpose. We’re not just starting a church — we’re following God’s call to build a Christ-centered community that lasts.
While we’re meeting in a temporary location, our hearts are set on what’s to come. We trust that in His perfect timing, the Lord will plant us in our forever home in Archer County, where we can grow deep roots — in the lives of the people we serve with.
We are a congregation that worships, serves, and grows together wherever God places us. Buildings may come later, but the Body of Christ is already alive and working today.
Our goal isn’t to build treasures — it’s to reach the lost and disciple the believers. From the youngest to the oldest, we’re committed to raising disciples who love Jesus, serve others, and live out the gospel in every season of life.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.”
— Psalm 127:1, ESV
